    Job Description

    AECOM is seeking a Facilities Management Specialist II to be based Austin, TX.

    Facility management is focused upon the efficient and effective delivery of support services for the organizations that it serves - organizational function which integrates people, place and process within the built environment with the purpose of improving the quality of life of people and the productivity of the core business.

    Responsibilities but not limited to:

    • Move coordination
    • Furniture & equipment installation coordination
    • Review of furniture and equipment specifications
    • Review of proposals and quotes
    • Review of invoices
    • Review of furniture layouts
    • Coordinate with vendors for proposals and quotes
    • Works under general supervision.
    • Participates with other team members to achieve common goals.
    • Troubleshoots problems of low complexity and recommends appropriate action.
    • Effectively contributes to Facilities Management team goals.
    • Participates in the development of solutions.
    • Perform all activities necessary to deliver facilities-related and mission support-related materials, supplies and equipment for customer supported sites.
    • Performs facilities management tasks and operations of the assigned properties.
    • Coordinates the maintenance work and liaises closely with external contractors to ensure that the work is completed to standard.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    BA/BS + 2 Years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

    Preferred Requirements:

    BS or associate degree in interior design or architecture.

    Being able to work in a creative and adaptable working team.

    Able to work and collaborate with the team.

    Basic knowledge of furniture design

    Basic knowledge of reading and understanding of architectural and design plans

    Intermediate knowledge of Google Workspace

    Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365

    Be able to work with Procore and Google Sheets

    CAPM Certification a plus

    Additional Information

    This position will be working on site.

    Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $55,029.50 - $96,000.
