AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer Intern – Water Resources to be based in Orange, CA

This position is expected to begin in August 7, 2023

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Perform assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.

• ssist in the development and application of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analyses related to floodplain management studies and a variety of water resource projects
• Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in water resources or related field.
• Must have completed three years of study

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD and Microsoft office
• Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic engineering concepts through coursework or work experience

Additional Information

• Relocation is not available for this position.
• Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $$24.00-$33.
