AECOM is seeking a Joint Venture Accountant to be based in one of the following locations: Austin, TX – Orange, CA – Sacramento, CA AT AECOM, WE’RE DELIVERING A BETTER WORLD. • Preparing monthly financial statements and reporting packages
• Processing invoices, payments, and monthly journal entries
• Monitoring, analyzing, and reconciling various balance sheet accounts
• Working with internal customers to gather and provide information
• Maintaining accounting controls and company policies
• Prepare departmental reporting/reconciliations as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 2 years of relevant experience.
• Understanding of the fundamentals of accounting, financial reporting under US GAAP.
• Consistently meets deadlines on a timely basis.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data, and effectively communicate findings/results.
• Must be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task.
• Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Experience with ORACLE a plus.
• Advanced computer skills preferred: to include Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, IF, Macros).  Hands-on experience with ORACLE financial reporting system a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Relocation assistance and/or per diem is not offering for this position
• Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required
• Offered rate of compensation _(California Only) _will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $57K - $80K USD annually.
