    Job Description

    AECOM is seeking a Graphic Designer III to assist our East Region Marketing Group. This position will offer flexibility for hybrid work schedules with an expectation to go into an AECOM office periodically and can be based out of, but not limited to, Glen Allen, VA; Richmond, VA; Roanoke, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; Baltimore, MD; Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
    • Develops solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
    • Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
    • Administers and executes policies and procedures.
    • Manages graphic production efforts from preparation through publication.
    • Recommends appropriate methods and media to convey the desired effect.
    • Assists in reviewing progress and the evaluation of results.
    • Ensures that projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.
    • Provides guidance and training to design and/or production personnel.
    • Contributes to the development of new concepts, graphics standards and templates, and improved processes and workflow systems.
    • Serves as a consultant to departments, groups and subsidiaries.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • BA/BS in Graphic Design or a related field + 4 years of relevant graphic design experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior experience within the A/E/C industry
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients
    • A strong portfolio of artwork demonstrating sensible design and production skills
    • An ability to design within brand guidelines
    • A thorough understanding of Adobe Design Standard and Microsoft Office, with emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and Word
    • The ability to work under tight deadlines and complete work through multiple stages of review
    • Exceptional time management skills and ability to work in a fast-moving, demanding work environment.

    • Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $61K - $87K annually.
