Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Engineering Co-op Intern to be based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

_This position is expected to begin in January 2023. _

THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Provide support to the roadway, structures and traffic engineering group on highway design projects.
• The intern will work under the direction of engineers to support design staff on engineering calculations, quantity calculations and cost estimates.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must be currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Transportation
• Must have completed two years of study in the applicable program

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
• Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as MicroStation, InRoads, Synchro, and OpenRoads)
• A university student interested in taking advantage of the university Co-Op program
