AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Entry Level Bridge Engineer for employment in the Columbus, Ohio office.

This position is expected to begin in May 2023.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Take a role in the implementation of health & safety and wellbeing best practice into the delivery of all works.
• Take a role in the design of major civil engineering structures.
• Prepare designs under supervision.
• Assist with the commercial and financial control of your project.
• Analysis and detailed design of road/rail bridges and other structures.
• Inspection, assessment and strengthening of road/rail bridges and other structures.
• Prepare, implement, and assess contract documents.
• Report checking and production of technical reports and documents.
• Project management of schemes including client reporting, programming, resource planning and commercial management.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masters in Civil Engineering
• Very Familiar with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point)Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam
• Some experience with AutoCAD, Microstation and other civil engineering related software (Civil 3D, OpenRoads)
• Previous work experience or internship with engineering firms, contractors or DOTs involved in design, construction or management of highway or other transportation related projects.

• The candidate must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week).
