    ** About the role:**
    In a Project Management II role, you’ll use best-in-breed PM tools to help us deliver products that will change the world of fintech. This will include overseeing the development of new products and services as well as new internal information systems and applications, new technology integrations, and infrastructure build-outs. You’ll have the chance to support one of our clients, a global leader in asset management.

    About the team:

    The Global Transfer Agency Program Management Office is a team made up of 20+ resources located both in North America and a variety of international locations. Our team comprises of Project Managers, Business Analysts, and resources leading conversion efforts. We lead cross-functional projects supporting the Transfer Agency business for both BPaaS and SaaS clients.

    What you will be doing:

    • Working with product development, sales, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and/or other cross-functional teams.
    • Managing project risk and assisting with problem resolution.
    • Serving as liaison between technical and non-technical teams.
    • Responsible for all aspects of assigned technical projects
    • Focus on development of new or upgraded products and services
    • Support internal information system-specific projects that may involve development or enhancement of internal applications, technology integration and/or infrastructure environment build-out, delivery by service teams for outsourced solutions to external clients or delivery of new or enhanced products and/or services to improve customer satisfaction through use of technology
    • Plans and coordinates all aspects of technical projects from initiation through delivery.
    • Coordinates activities and tasks among project team members, other internal departments and client or vendor/subcontractor organizations as needed to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule, within budget constraints and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope
    • Identifies project management coordination process gaps or areas for improvement, recommends and implements solutions

    What you will need:

    • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, procedures and guidelines as well as various IT project methodologies and life cycles. (5 yrs minimum)
    • Advanced skills with project management software.
    • A bachelor’s in computer science, management information systems or business administration or the equivalent experience – PMP (Project Management Professional) certification may be required.
    • Financial services experience required
    • Excellent analysis, problem-solving, team, conflict management and time management skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to set clear expectations, manage team performance and build high morale among team members

    FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $84,720.00 - $142,320.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
      8+ years relevant engineering, field service or project management

    • Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation.

    • 1 + Project Manager mentoring with at least 1 direct report.

    • Expert project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).

    • Advanced coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills; solid leadership orientation

    • Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the organization.

    • Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, and Power Point skills; solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.

    • Basic knowledge and understanding of IT networking principals.

    • Advanced financial analytical skills including cost control.

    • Able to manage multiple jobs up to $500K each with variable deliverables.
