Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Marketing Intern for the Global Transportation business line to be based in the greater Denver and Boulder, CO area. The opportunity is remote, with weekly face to face check-ins.

This position is expected to begin in June 1, 2023

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Works with a variety of technical and marketing staff
• Supports senior marketing lead with content delivery:
• Content audit – review web-based content to see what needs to be updated or deleted
• Review data, SEO, etc. using spreadsheets and online tooling. Training will be available to familiarize process.
• Data entry related to audit informing the web team on updates
• Campaign delivery including but not limited to:
• Develop blogs, articles and additional content as needed related to transportation line of business
• Social media content development
• Coordinate copy updates with design and web team
• Works under general supervision and collaboration with the marketing leader
• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Currently in pursuit of Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to use web-based platforms for meetings and project collaboration

• Understand the fundamentals of marketing and communications

• Hands-on experience / previous internship experience using social media to promote an organization, group or business

• Knowledge of social media analytics and social listening tools

• Background in understanding and providing metrics-based recommendations to improve engagement and increase followers

• Proficient in MS Office (current version): Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Strong written communication skills

• Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to operate within a team setting

• Relocation is not available for this position.

• Offered rate of compensation (Colorado) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $17.00 - $25.00
