    Job Description

    AECOM TISHMAN is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for our iconic construction project in Boston, MA.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Under moderate supervision assists the Project Management team with management administration on a moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a large size and scope project, following set guidelines for completion of tasks.
    • Employee receives moderate to limited supervision working from objectives set by supervisor. Employee organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training. Employee handles some unusual situations independently.  
    • May interface with design team.
    • May work closely with BIM team and use modelling software.
    • May interact with Superintendents to address project questions/issues.
    • Assists with and monitors change orders
    • May assist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting
    • Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract.
    • Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate
    • Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed
    • May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • BA/BS Construction Management/Engineering or similar curriculum and 2 years of experience working for a large GC or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 2 years of construction experience on large scale projects from a large general constructor.    
    • Familiarity with construction documentation such as reports, safety recording keeping, quality control plans, etc. 
    • Able to follow directions and interact with all levels of management on working construction project.
    • Procore experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
    • Experience engaging with multiple trades on a complex construction project.
