The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing geological, hydrogeological and geochemical data, and evaluating regulatory standards for protection of human and ecological receptors. Strong organizational and technical writing skills are imperative for this position. Relevant experience effectively using Microsoft Office Suite programs when preparing reports is also required.
Work activities will involve preparation and review of investigation reports, management of data, preparation of data summary tables, and interpretation of analytical results. Other activities will likely include conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and coordinating the collection and analysis of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, air and soil vapor samples. Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects, a positive attitude, willingness to mentor junior staff, and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred 8+ years of environmental investigation or remediation experience.
Experience with Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, site characterization, subsurface investigation, and remediation projects at various client sites.
Experience with soil, groundwater, vapor, and stormwater field collection methods.
Experience applying geological knowledge to monitoring and subsurface investigations in office settings.
Possess strong technical report writing skills and prepare and/or lead the preparation of investigation reports.
Support Project Managers on multiple projects within scope/budget/schedule expectations and confirm quality standards on project deliverables.
Experience with independently performing field work and leading field teams.
Ability to clearly communicate with subcontractors, regulatory agents, and clients during project activities.
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certificate or annual refresher certificate.
First Aid/CPR certificate.
Candidate must be proficient with basic computer programs; Microsoft Office Suite Programs.
