Job Description

AECOM is seeking a is seeking a Transportation Planning Intern for immediate employment based in our Raleigh, NC office.

This position is expected to begin in May 2023

THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Support senior planners and/or project managers in producing documents, reports, graphics, 3D modeling, and materials for transportation planning documents and community outreach
• Compile data and conducts research in support of project delivery
• Preparing various planning studies, planning support, GIS analyses compiling design data, developing cost estimates, and other assignments as needed to meet the needs of our clients
• Work under supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Urban Planning, Geography, Social Science, Mathematics or related field
• Must have completed 2 year of qualified study

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work with a diverse team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work.
• Ability to multi-task and be flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and deadlines.
• Experience using spreadsheets, word processing, and standard office software.
