    Job Description

    AECOM has a position available for an Architect II to join our Buildings + Places team in Orlando, FL. In this role you will be responsible for your own projects. This is a hybrid work-model and may be require office presence 2-3 days/week.

    The responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to, the following:

    • Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.
    • Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
    • Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.
    • Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
    • Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.
    • May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
    • May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ** Minimum Requirements**

    • BA/BS degree plus 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
    • Architectural License required
    • Previous experience working as an Architect on projects
    • Demonstrated experience using Autodesk Revit required

    ** Preferred Qualifications**

    • Previous experience working with Project Managers and Clients on large projects across various regions
    • Previous project experience in Hospitality, Leisure, and Sports venues is helpful
    • 5+ years of relevant experience is preferred
    • Experience using one or more of the following is helpful: Bluebeam, Sketchup, AutoCAD, Lumion, Rhino, Autodesk Navisworks, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator

    Offered rate of compensation in (Florida locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $55,029 - $75,665.
