Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Engineering Intern  to be based in Greenville, SC.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.
• Intern 1 – completion of the first year of qualified study
• Assist with the development of engineered hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and plans related to roadway drainage and bridge hydraulics.
• Intern duties will also include assisting with the development of bridge scour reports.
• Duties may also include field review of projects as needed.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program with a bachelor's degree in the Civil Engineering field with the intent to continue enrollment after the internship.
• Must have completion of two years of undergraduate study

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Capability in AutoCAD and/or Bentley CAD drafting software.
• Good communication skills
