    Job Description

    AECOM Water West i s seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Wastewater Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Denver, Colorado. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainability. Will need familiarity with BioWin,Visual Hydraulics and SUMO software.

    Experience with process modeling software and data analysis tools is a plus. The preferred experience includes wastewater treatment process design, optimization, and troubleshooting. A strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes is recommended. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills in a variety of scenarios. Effective communication, collaboration, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team will be key.

    ** Responsibilities:**

    • Conduct detailed analyses of wastewater treatment systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Design and implement innovative solutions to enhance wastewater treatment processes.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of new technologies and processes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues related to wastewater treatment processes for various clients.
    • Develop and maintain documentation, including process flow diagrams and P&IDs.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ** Minimum Requirements:**

    • BA/BS in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field +2 years of relevant experience in wastewater process engineering. and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education

    ** Preferred**

    • Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
    • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
    • Experience with process modeling software and data analysis tools is a plus.

    Additional Information

    Compensation

    Exempt. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range is $66,000 - 85,000/annually
