Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly talented ENTRY LEVEL LANDSCAPE DESIGNER to be based in DENVER, CO.

_This position is expected to begin in May 2023. _

THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Performing design work within the Landscape Architecture + Urban Design Studio
• Preparing landscape architecture-related plans and details
• Developing technical information that supports design and planning efforts
• Preparation of high-quality renderings, graphics, and diagrams to support design and planning presentations
• Under the direction of the Supervising Landscape Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets. 
• May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating in an assigned project.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field from a LAAB accredited program.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field from a LAAB accredited program plus 1+ year of professional experience.
• Demonstrated production and digital rendering experience with AutoCAD, LandFX, Adobe Creative Suite, ArcGIS, Rhino, and Lumion/Enscape.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
• Possesses the ability to collaborate as part of a diverse studio team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, AutoCAD, Adobe CS (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), 3D modeling (SketchUp), and good hand-drawing skills.

• Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $42,000 - $58,000.
