Job Description
AECOM is seeking an ENERGY PROJECT DEVELOPER to join our Alternate Delivery Energy Team. This team works on a variety of energy efficiency, resilience, and decarbonization initiatives for federal, municipal, utility, and commercial and industrial clients, including third party financed projects, energy-as-a-service offerings, and energy consulting. This position will perform technical and business development tasks on a variety of projects and opportunities including energy efficiency, distributed generation, renewable energy, energy master planning, district energy systems, net-zero buildings, monitoring base commissioning, transportation electrification, and building decarbonization. The successful candidate should be a dynamic, self-directed, detail-oriented individual with an excellent understanding of building mechanical systems, distributed energy resources (electric vehicles, solar photovoltaic, battery storage), energy system decarbonization, and alternate delivery project processes. The candidate should have a demonstrated ability to develop and deliver innovative energy projects and solutions that leverage the use of data analytics to identify, analyze, and specify energy reduction measures. The candidate should also be capable of making decisions independently under the guidance of senior staff. The responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:
DCS—ENERGY AECOM’s Energy practice provides a wide range of services from consulting and engineering design to energy engineering, energy procurement and construction (EPC) for power, energy efficiency, and renewable energy clients. Our understanding of the big picture – and the interconnection between generation, distribution, storage, and the demand side of the meter – allows us to deliver holistic strategies that improve and modernize next generation energy infrastructure.
