Job Description

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Monitors and documents conformance with quality, performance, safety and code requirements. Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining project documentation.  • General understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines.  • Professional certification desirable if applicable.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• HS + 2 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Must have a valid driver’s license

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven 5-15 plus years of past WisDOT and local construction inspection and materials inspection experience
• Familiarity with WisDOT: FDM, Standard Specifications, Material Certification Requirements, AASHTOWare, Pantry, and Construction Practices
• GPS and Survey equipment knowledge
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D Design or similar applications and Microsoft Office
• WisDOT material certifications including: AGGTECH, PCCTECH, NUCDENSITYTEC, TMS, MCT, GRADINGTEC
