    Job Description

    AECOM/Hunt has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Manager in Miami, FL to support our ongoing construction projects.

    • Under limited supervision, manages one or more ES&H functions within an ES&H department or group within a subsidiary.
    • May manage the environmental safety and health function(s) on a large project.
    • Is fully competent in most aspects of the job.
    • Work is complex and requires independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
    • Uses independent judgment and provides solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
    • Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirement:

    • BS/BS and 8 years of progressive managerial experience in Construction Safety or AA/AS and 10 years of relevant experience or HS/GED and 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

    Preferred Requirements:

    • 8 years of Safety, Health and Environmental experience in the field of construction.
    • Experience working for a large GC.
    • Experience in stadium/sports/hospitality event construction.
    • industry-recognized credentials (CHST, OSHA 510 or OSHA 500, CSP)
    • Valid Driver’s License to operate motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work.
    • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

    • Limited travel may be required for this position.

    • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
    • Offered rate of compensation Miami, FL will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $92,869.86 - $171,809.24.
