Job Description
AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with experience managing water and wastewater projects in the Orlando office. In this position, you will be the main point of contact managing the design of drinking water treatment, wastewater treatment and conveyance projects in the Central Florida area and you will assist with business development activities. AECOM has been providing services to the greater Orlando market for over 50 years. Our services have spanned some of the most advanced water and wastewater facilities in the region.
As a member of our team, you would contribute to AECOM’s mission by:
-Managing and serving as the lead project manager on major water and wastewater projects.
-Leading business development and marketing efforts within the region.
-Being responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects managed.
-Completing quality assurance / quality control of key deliverables and assisting on projects managed by others in the office.
-Participating in professional societies relevant to the industry.
-Building and maintain positive working relations with key decision makers in our client’s organizations.
Minimum Qualifications
-Bachelors’ degree in Civil, Environmental or related degree
-8+ years of related experience, and 5+ years of demonstrated project management experience
-Registration as a Professional Engineer in Florida.
Skills
-10+ years of related experience, and 76+ years of demonstrated project management experience
-Experience working with project management methodology including budget development and project planning.
-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
-Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
-Excellent computer skills including MS word and Excel.
-Superior organizational skills to balance and prioritize work.
Qualifications
