    Job Description

    AECOM Water is actively seeking a highly talented and responsible Civil Process Engineer (CE) for immediate employment in Orange, CA. The Civil Engineer (CE) will be responsible for the effective coordination of the engineering design and construction teams and can interact closely with the Design and Quality Control Managers. The CE is the primary point of contact to the Engineering Vice President and serves in this lead role being the liaison and is responsible for providing the necessary direction upon coordination with Contractors, Project Engineers, Inspectors, and Owner and their Agents. The civil engineer will have the primary responsibility for quality assurance of the construction. We are seeking a candidate who has experience specific to water or wastewater process. The CE will actively participate in design and construction meetings with the Contractor, Subcontractors, Project Design Engineer, and the Owner.

    • Technical resource for water and/or wastewater process engineering; may serve as technical advisor for the broader team
    • Provides specialized technical input to water or wastewater studies and design related to process engineering and design.
    • Provide direction on process elements of study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality cost-effective work by others.
    • Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
    • Supports development of construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects.
    • Performs quality control review of design calculations, specifications or drawings.
    • Prepares technical specification sections.
    • Provides input to the development of the engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.

    Minimum Requirements

    • BA/BS + 6 years of relevant water wastewater industry experience and or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.

    Preferred Requirements

    • PE or ability to obtain PE within 24 months of employment
    • PMP preferred, but not required

    Compensation

    Exempt Position: The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $93,000 - $120,000 USD
