Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Airport Design Engineering Intern to be based in Orange, California.

This position is expected to begin in January 2024.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.
• Candidates must have completed one year of study in their program.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

• Travel of 10% is required for this position.
• This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Orange, California. The selected candidate must be available to work in Orange, California on a scheduled basis.
• Non-Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $18.99 - $26.12/hr.
