AECOM is seeking an Office Engineer - Highway & Bridge Projects to be based in Oakland, CA .
Job Summary/Responsibilities
• Office Engineer will be responsible for the documentation and processing of change orders, submittals, RFIs, NCRs, transmittals, and other transportation-related project documentation.
• Performs a variety of tasks in support of the engineering staff.
• Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications.
• General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Viewed as competent in all areas.
• May oversee work of junior-level technicians.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Check
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:•
• Experience in Transportation Construction on large scale projects as Office Engineer
• Experience with other transportation-related project documentation such as documentation and processing of change orders, submittals, RFIs, NCRs, transmittals
• EIT is desired

Offered rate of compensation (California locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $100,945.50 to $186,749.18
