    Job Description

    AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our growing Northern, CA practice in either the San Francisco or Oakland office.

    The Electrical Engineer will join a multidisciplinary, collaborative team with a range of expertise supporting the expansion of their knowledge base with the ability to travel and gain field experience.

    As part of our team, you will support a diverse tapestry of work across markets like Commercial, Federal (Military/DoD), Healthcare, Higher Education, Sports + Rec and Science + Tech markets, including landmark projects in the industry. You will have opportunities to take on complex challenges and pioneer innovative solutions from strategy and design through project realization.

    Join a practice filled with professionals pioneering Energy Conservation and Zero Carbon initiatives, focusing on renewable energy projects for high-performance buildings.     The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

    • Builds analytic and design skills.
    • Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an
    • experienced engineer.
    • Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
    • Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
    • Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
    • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or related field

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • EIT
    • Prepare electrical design calculations, utilize electrical design software
    • Perform lighting design and foot-candle calculations, utilizing light design software
    • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, AGI 32 and SKM software

    • Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $70,000- $100,000
