Job Description

At Olsson, we help our clients proactively comply with complicated regulatory processes and provide our clients with the latest and best methods of environmental expertise. As an Environmental Geologist in our Lincoln, NE office, you will provide a full range of environmental support for our clients. Tasks would include soil and groundwater sampling at various project sites, and operation of groundwater remediation systems. This position requires an extensive amount of fieldwork and will include travel throughout the central part of Nebraska, and occasionally out of state. This position requires fieldwork during a variety of weather conditions and terrain types.

YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in geology, biological sciences, environmental science, natural resources or equivalent.
• 0-5 years of related experience.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• A desire to succeed and work independently.
• A willingness to work a flexible schedule which can include travel.
• Ability to contribute and support Olsson in meeting our clients’ needs.
• 40 Hour OSHA Hazwoper training is a plus.
• State of Nebraska Water Well Technician license is a plus.
