    Job Description

    AECOM is currently seeking an experienced Field Management Superintendent I who has a background with NYCHA and Roofing projects. This is not a remote or telecommute position as it will be onsite in the New York area. This role is contingent upon client approval.

    This person will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

    • Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects
    • Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project
    • May be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities, or may coordinate with client’s resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations
    • Responsible to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards
    • Interfaces with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinated effort
    • Continuously monitor safety as well as perform quality assurance inspections
    • Receive direction from the Project Manager, as well as teach and lead Inspectors and Inspectors in training
    • Will work with others and attend and at times lead meetings
    • Review payments and mark up drawings to show actual work
    • Verify quantities, measurements review GC payments
    • Type out daily reports, upload and download documents such as pictures, submittals, drawings, specifications, and manage their time in a responsible way
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

    • BA/BS + 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
    • U.S. Citizenship required, due to the nature of the work
    • Must have Constuction & roofing background
    • Roofing experience on high and midrise buildings

    Preferred Requirements

    • Experience with eBuilder, Excell, Bluebeam and P6
    • Proficient in reading contract drawings, specifications, and reviewing submittals to perform active daily inspections for quality assurance and control
    • Experience managing all field operations, attending meetings, corresponding through email
    • Understanding of Safety requirements in NYC
    • Able to take measurements and mark up drawing for quantities and payment review
    • Experience submitting daily reports in eBuilder

    The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $87k - $135,200k.
