    Job Description

    AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering to be based in Denver, CO. This position is expected to begin in December 2022.

    The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Planning, implementing and overseeing geotechnical exploration programs (30% travel/field time) Assisting with laboratory testing assignments. Performing geotechnical evaluations including material characterization, liquefaction, seepage, slope stability, and settlement analyses. Preparing calculation packages. Assisting with the development of geotechnical reports, drawings, and specifications. Preparing and presenting technical presentations of evaluation results to the internal team. Review geotechnical instrumentation and assist with the preparation of instrumentation monitoring reports.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:BS in Civil Engineering EIT Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months. Valid Driver’s License

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical Emphasis Basic Knowledge of industry software such as GeoStudio, Texas, Grapher, and AutoCAD Civil3DField/Construction experience; dams experience a plus. Familiarity with design reports, drawings, and specifications. Excellent Verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment. Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and flexibility. Resourceful, highly organized, and detail-oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Effective time-management and interpersonal Skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

    Additional Information: Offered rate of compensation (Colorado locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $53k-80k.  AECOM is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits program to meet the diverse needs of our employees.     Relocation is not available for this position. Sponsorship is available for this position. Candidate can expect up to 20% travel for this position.

    Additional Information

    • Offered rate of compensation (Colorado locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $55,029.5 - $75,665.57.
