    Job Description AECOM is actively seeking a mid-level scientist/engineer to join our Remediation Engineering team in Rocky Hill, CT for employment to be a task leader for a variety of environmental projects (i.e., Site Investigations, Feasibility Studies, and Remedial Actions). Candidate will work with a diverse team of project managers and technical leaders across a broad range of practice areas delivering remediation consulting services to key clients in the Northeast.   • Qualifications

    Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:BA/BS degree in Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology or Environmental Science or related discipline plus 4 + years of related experience in environmental consulting for Federal, State, or private clients or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Must be comfortable with periodic travel for regional project assignments.Must have a valid Driver's License. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience with response and environmental investigations and through site clean-up and closure.Environmental site investigation, remediation planning, and/or design experience.Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification is preferred.Experience working with the Connecticut Remediation Standard Regulations (RSRs).Candidate must also be able to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors.Flexibility to work on a multitude of diverse projects.Project management experience.Positive attitude and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative.Additional InformationThis position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.Travel is required for this position.
