    Job Description

    AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in New York, New York October 15-17. This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2026.

    The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm , where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.

    On Thursday and Friday, interviews will take place at our New York office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.

    AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level EV Engineer/Energy Analyst to be based in New York.

    This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2026.

    In this role the selected candidate will work on a variety of energy efficiency, resilience, and decarbonization initiatives for municipal, utility, and commercial and industrial clients.

    Responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited, the following:

    • Conduct outreach and education to targeted customers and schedule and/or perform surveys and qualification of customer opportunities.
    • Qualify and develop new business opportunities from outbound/inbound calls, leads, general prospecting and email marketing. This includes cold calling and networking in the region to develop one’s own opportunities.
    • Perform commercial energy audits for small C&I customers with aim to reduce overall energy consumption.
    • Determine qualifying measures, technologies and techniques to evaluate successful EV Charging Station implementation.
    • Preparing and presenting results and professional recommendations, in report or presentation format, to clients and teams.
    • Perform energy calculations to identify and validate energy conservation measures (ECMs).
  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with utilities.
    • Demonstrated networking capabilities with public and private clients, power and energy industries, from inception through contract award and implementation.
    • Knowledge and experience with energy infrastructure processes and requirements are strongly desired.
