AEDD is looking for a highly energetic, self-motiveted individual to secure appropriate competitive employment in the community for developmentally disabled individuals.

The Supportive Employment Supervisor works under the direction and supervision of the Director of Adult Clinical Services. This position will be responsible for day-to-day administration of public relations initiatives to attract potential businesses and retain existing accounts relative to securing appropriate competitive employment in the community for developmentally disabled individuals. This person will provide the necessary supervision, training, counseling, support and assistance to ensure a successful career for the individuals served. The ideal candidate will be someone that is highly influential, self-motivated, punctual, energetic, assertive, and can be an advocate for our consumers while trying to get them into the work force.

Adequate personal transportation is necessary due to frequent travel. Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
