Position Overview
We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support the AEGIS TECHREP program under Engineering Support Services (ESS). This role focuses on software/system verification , product validation , and technical documentation for radar and sensor systems. You'll work across the engineering lifecycle, ensuring test artifacts are clear, traceable, and actionable.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute system/software verification for radar/sensor capabilities.
- Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and reports with clear pass/fail criteria.
- Perform data analysis and present findings to stakeholders.
- Support product validation and release readiness activities.
- Review computer systems requirements and document discrepancies
- Maintain metrics on tested computer requirements
- Brief Leadership on projects assigned
- Author customer-facing documentation and contribute to monthly reporting deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (prime, subcontractors, and government) to align on scope and close actions.
- Operate within cleared environments following NAVSEA/BAE security protocols and Orgro SOPs.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years in systems/software test & verification within defense/DoD programs.
- Strong technical writing and data analysis skills.
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
Preferred:
- Experience with AEGIS or naval radar systems.
- Experience with Linux OS, Coding, Systems Testing
- Contribution to SETR or equivalent engineering reviews.
Work Arrangement
- On-site in Mt. Laurel/Moorestown, NJ to support test events and daily collaboration.
