About the Role:

Join Sacopee Rescue Unit Inc as an AEMT Paramedic, where you will play a vital role in providing high-quality emergency medical services to our community. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about patient care and thrive in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:

Administer emergency medical care and treatment to patients in pre-hospital settings.

Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate interventions based on protocols.

Operate and maintain medical equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.

Collaborate with other emergency responders to ensure effective patient transport and care.

Document patient care and treatment accurately and in a timely manner.

Participate in training and continuing education to maintain certifications and skills.

Provide compassionate support to patients and their families during emergencies.

Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards in emergency medical services.

Requirements:

Valid Maine AEMT or Paramedic certification and CPR/BLS certification.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in emergency medical services preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.

Ability to work in high-stress situations and make quick decisions.

Current driver's license with a clean driving record.

Knowledge of local emergency protocols and procedures.

Commitment to teamwork and community service.

Physical fitness to perform essential job functions and duties.
