ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

AÉNL is seeking a social media editor who is highly proficient at developing and maintaining audiences across all social platforms. But we don't simply want a robot whose only job is to post links, we want a top-notch creative editor and writer who understands the current internet culture and who is passionate about the quality of our presentation, film, music, and news, and is excited to be the voice of AÉNL across all social channels.

Creates and publishes all editorial and visual assets for AÉNL's social channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.)

Identifies trends and stories on socials for the editorial team

Develops new content and campaigns to serve users and grow account followings

Coordinates the creation of platform-specific content with our production teams, including text, photo, video, and interactive

Identifies the most compelling visuals to accompany content, and packaging those for effective sharing

Coordinates responsive advertising spends on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter; identify the posts that are performing or will perform for the audience
