Job Description: A&P Mechanic (Robinson R44/R66)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced A&P Mechanic with expertise in the maintenance, Overhaul and repair of Robinson R44 and R66 helicopters.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine and non-routine inspections, and annual inspections, in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and manufacturer guidelines for Robinson R44 and R66 helicopters.
2. Conduct inspections and repairs on aircraft systems, including but not limited to engines, hydraulics, avionics, rotor systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, and airframe structures.
3. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and avionics discrepancies or malfunctions, utilizing technical manuals, technical orders, blueprints, and other applicable documentation.
4. Disassemble, repair, and reassemble aircraft components, systems, and structures, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, quality standards, and safety regulations.
5. Perform maintenance tasks such as preventive maintenance, component changes, system adjustments, and equipment installations as required.
6. Complete accurate and thorough documentation of all maintenance and repair activities, including logbook entries, work orders, and maintenance records.
7. Comply with all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
8. Coordinate with other maintenance personnel, pilots, and operations team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of aircraft maintenance and repair tasks.
9. Maintain an organized, clean, and adequately stocked work area, ensuring all tools, equipment, and supplies are properly maintained and readily available for use.
10. Stay updated with industry advancements, technological developments, and regulatory changes related to Robinson R44 and R66 helicopters, attending training programs and workshops as needed for professional development.

Required qualifications

1. Must hold a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
2. Minimum of 2 years of direct experience as an A&P Mechanic working on Robinson R44 and R66 helicopters (Preferred).
3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
4. Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for aircraft maintenance and repair.
5. Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, maintenance practices, and safety standards applicable to Robinson R44 and R66 helicopters.
6. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues.
7. Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
8. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
10. Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

11. Experience preforming 2200 Hour / 12 year overhauls preferred.
