Job Overview: The Attorney will be responsible for managing cases from start to finish. This includes conducting client consultations, drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court. The attorney will work collaboratively with our team of legal professionals to provide excellent legal services and achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage caseload to ensure they are progressing efficiently and effectively.
Conduct client consultations to evaluate cases and provide legal advice.
Draft legal documents, such as demand letters, complaints, and settlement agreements.
Negotiate settlements with manufacturers, dealerships, and insurance companies.
Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, and trials.
Work collaboratively with legal professionals to provide excellent legal services to clients.
Stay up to date on lemon law statutes, regulations, and court decisions to provide effective representation.
Travel for depositions, conferences, etc... as needed
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law in the state of California.
2-3+ years of experience practicing lemon law or related field.
Strong negotiation, communication, and advocacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently and effectively.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience using legal software and technology.
Passion for helping clients receive the compensation they deserve
Federal court experience
Experience taking and defending depositions
Experience managing a litigation caseload
