Currently at AFC Urgent Care, we have both Full-time and Part-time positions available for a Medical Assistant to fulfill.
The following is to be expected from this individual. ***Front desk duties to be assigned as well.
Pay rate can be discussed during interview process as well.
General Accountabilities
Perform administrative tasks, such as bookkeeping procedures and insurance claims processing.
Establish and maintain patient records.
Perform clinical tasks, including sterilization techniques, specimen collection, diagnostic testing, vital signs, and patient care.
Communicate with patients regarding disease prevention, health maintenance, community resources, and physician instructions.
Assist with patient procedures and in-office surgical procedures.
Basic Requirements
Current CPR Certification
High School diploma or GED
Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program, and have received certification.
At least 2 years of clinical experience
Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT)
