About the Role:

Tiny Tunes Daycare in the Bronx, NY is looking for a passionate and energetic After-School Director to lead our growing after-school program! This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children by creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where kids can thrive after the school day ends.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the after-school program, ensuring a safe and structured environment

Plan, develop, and implement engaging age-appropriate activities, homework help, and enrichment programs

Supervise, mentor, and schedule after-school program staff and volunteers

Maintain compliance with NYC childcare regulations and licensing requirements

Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school-day teachers regarding student progress

Monitor attendance, manage enrollment records, and maintain accurate program documentation

Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive program culture

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred

Minimum 2 years of experience in childcare, youth programming, or after-school leadership

Knowledge of NYC ACS childcare regulations and compliance standards

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Warm, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine passion for working with children

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced childcare setting
