Description: Experience: 1 - 3 years. This position is responsible for analyzing, planning, scheduling, and purchasing a wide variety of technical material required for production in accordance with the master schedule requirements, lead times, order policies, business inventory policy, shortage report, schedule sharing and MRP. Initiating, expediting and rescheduling purchase orders to meet demand requirements. Data integrity of item, purchase order and supplier ERP data. Reconciliation of material receipts to purchase orders. Reconciliation of inventory to third party contract manufacturing systems. Investigate and resolve AP issues with suppliers, where required; and communicate proactively with management through dialog and/or reports regarding concerns on price trends, quality, supply, safety, material innovations and service levels. Department Description: Purchasing/ Procurement Production environment Job Description * Prepare purchase orders, maintain inventory, and reorder materials, services and supplies within established parameters, using preferred suppliers at the negotiated price. * Manage purchase order actions (reschedules, cancels, expedites, confirmations) and ensure on time delivery for inventory and non inventory items, to support production and Customer orders. * Use SAP MRP to review/process purchase orders/purchase requisitions and ensure purchases are policy compliant * Communicate in a timely manner on inability to deliver on time to our internal customers. * Plan and manage inventory levels of purchased materials * Proactively and accurately maintain parts in the ERP system including lead times, price, MOQ and Supplier * Negotiate with expense suppliers on pricing and delivery * Review alignment between purchase order, deliveries and suppliers' invoices * Initiate transfer orders of product being sourced from another factory Qualifications: * Experience with Production Manufacturing preferred. * Experience working SAP in MRP environment an asset * Team oriented * Organized person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment Basic Requirements * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
