    AGIA Affinity is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing Corporate Accounting team. The Staff Accountant ensures economic transactions are classified and recorded accurately and timely to support production of information critical for business decision making.

    Prepare and enter journal entries and review, complete daily sub-ledger interfaces, analyze and reconcile general ledger, sub-ledgers, schedules and bank accounts in a timely manner.

    Log, review, and organize accounts payable data for entry into computerized accounting system for multiple companies.

    Report progress, issues, questions and status of assignments to management on a daily basis.

    Perform monthly closing duties including the reconciliation of sub ledger to general ledger.

    Process vendor setup with appropriate W-9 forms.

    Process annual 1099 statements.

    Process marketing project cost invoicing and tracking in accordance with prescribed procedures.

    Review and enter marketing project budgets into accounting system.

    Review, code, and enter marketing project invoices.

    Invoice all marketing partners in accordance with approved project budgets on a monthly basis.

    Perform collection efforts to minimize delinquent accounts.

    Communicate with Marketing Managers and supporting staff to ensure that costs are recorded and invoiced accurately and according to the budget.

    Maintain timely reconciliation of all general ledger accounts affected by the marketing project cost function.

    Assist in preparation and distribution of Monthly Operating Report packages.

    Provide support with internal and external audit requirements.

    File source documents and reports in accordance with department standards.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics

    Minimum two years general office experience

    Minimum two years accounting work experience

    Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and practices

    Intermediate proficiency in MS Office

    Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment

    Ability to keep data and information confidential

    Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) or other accounting software preferred
