    AGIA is hiring for a Human Resources Generalist to ensure the successful implementation and day-to-day administration of Human Resources and Organization Development policies, projects and programs by supporting, administering, coordinating and organizing the operations and activities of Human Resources and Organizational Development.

    Hours and Onboarding: The position hours are Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, with the flexibility to start as early as 7:30am or as late as 9am. Onboarding will be done in a remote capacity until the Carpinteria Office has lifted restrictions on having associates in the office. Following the opening of the office this position will be expected to perform duties at the office location a few days per week. Local candidates only.

    What you will do:

    Act as first point of contact for Human Resources and Organizational Development.

    Answer and address all Human Resources and Organizational Development-related questions, inquiries and request from all channels (e.g. in-person, telephone, email, etc.)

    Maintain a working knowledge of all Human Resources and Organizational Development departmental functions, policies and procedures, and the day-to-day administration of HR and OD programs.

    Administer, manage and support visibility of AGIA's Talent Management and Learning Management assets, tools and technology.

    Enter and maintain information for new hires, terminations and employee changes.

    Set-up and administer the Talent Management System for all new hire onboarding evaluations, annual goal setting cycles, mid-year review and annual performance review cycles.

    Set-up and administer the Learning Management System for all corporate training activities including organize course content, create and maintain training catalogs, manage course registrations, track and maintain course completions and transcripts.

    Create, generate and distribute Talent & Learning Management solution utilization reports to senior management and Talent Steering Committee.

    Collaborate with Human Resources and leadership to design, recommend and implement technology enhancements and updates to fully leverage the functionality and optimize the return-on-investment (ROI) of the tools and technology.

    Communicate timelines, system updates and enhancements to leadership and associates in a timely and effective manner.

    Administer, manage and promote Organizational Development activities and programs including but not limited to the Continuing Education Program and LOMA insurance education programs:

    Create, market and communicate Organizational Development activities and programs to all associates to drive participation and enrollments.

    Enroll employees in the appropriate courses in an accurate and timely manner.

    Track, monitor, record and report enrollee's completion of courses for the appropriate certification, and communicate as appropriate.

    Serve as the primary Organizational Development liaison to all associates.

    Answer associate and management questions regarding Organizational Development activities and programs.

    Assist and support in the planning and coordination of Organizational Development training content and programs including but not limited to:

    Curate, organize, administer and maintain training content and courses.

    Schedule and coordinate in-house training courses and classes.

    Maintain and manage external vendors to ensure service agreements, training licenses and courseware certifications are current.

    Assist in researching external courseware and vendors, as needed.

    Support and coordinate the first day new hire intake process and new hire onboarding activities to ensure a positive onboarding experience.

    Meet with new hires and conduct the first day intake process for California associates.

    Provide an overview of the Talent Management and Learning Management solution and the company's education programs to new hires.

    Assign and track new onboarding training courses to new hires for all locations including standardized and customized training curriculum as agreed upon with the hiring manager.

    Perform various Organizational Development tasks and administrative functions to support departmental operations including but not limited to:

    Monitor the Organizational Development Team email box and respond to messages in a timely, accurate and professional manner.

    Answer and handle general and complex inquiries and requests.

    Cross-train Human Resources Team Members on Organizational Development processes and procedures as needed.

    Create, update and maintain Organizational Development procedures as needed.

    Assist and support leaders in creating, updating and maintaining job descriptions for the entire organization in accordance with standard operating procedures and process.

    Assist in managing the Organizational Development budget.

    Receive, track and route all internal training requests to the Talent Steering Committee and serve as point of contact between requester and Organizational Development.

    Track and record Organizational Development-related expenses against budget, and report to management on a monthly basis.

    Reconcile invoices for Organizational Development vendors and activities.

    Serve as back-up and support to the Human Resources Team and Executives, as needed including but not limited to:

    Create, update and maintain employee files and records.

    Provide administrative support to the President/Chief Executive Officer as needed.

    Cross-train with HR Team Members on HR processes and procedures as needed to serve as a back-up resource for benefits administration and payroll processing.

    Assist in completing the filing and documentation requirements of government sponsored or mandated programs, and posting of required workplace notices.

    Assist in coordinating company events and employee relations activities.

    Assist in responding to requests for employment verifications and unemployment insurance claims.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree

    Minimum three years of job-related experience in Human Resources

    Minimum two years of experience with Talent Management System or Learning Management System

    Minimum two years of experience with ADP Workforce Now or comparable HRIS

    Knowledge of federal and state employment laws

    Knowledge of Human Resources practices

    Knowledge of Organization Development practices

    Intermediate proficiency in MS Office

    Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
