    Aging In Place Specialists (AIPS) is a locally owned and operated Outpatient Private Practice (Med B) that specializes in geriatric care.

    All our visits are done in-home or in community settings for integration purposes, when applicable.

    We help individuals that need Physical Therapy and prefer one-on-one care in their home but are not necessarily homebound.

    AIPS is seeking either a Full or Part Time Physical Therapist (Independent Contractor) for Sussex and Kent County Delaware to provide services within patients homes for the purpose of treating impairments, functional limitations, disabilities or changes in physical function and health status.

    Candidate should be expected to travel to patient homes and perform all job duties on-site which include, but are not limited to:

    Evaluating the patient

    Creating a plan of care for patient

    Administering treatment to patient

    Discharge planning of patient

    Re-assessments for patient

    Effective communication with patient’s physicians and healthcare team members

    Qualifications:

    Current Physical Therapist License in Delaware

    Preferably at least one year of experience as a Therapist

    Experience in geriatric care is preferred

    Very proficient and comfortable with manual therapy for spine.

    A graduate of an accredited physical therapy education program or equivalent

    Program must be recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)

    New PT Graduates are welcome to apply

    Able to effectively communicate in English with all levels of the workforce, both clinical and non-clinical

    Able to effectively deal with multiple changes based on patient needs and scheduling

    Able to travel within geographic area serviced by office

    Able to provide proof of valid driver's license and reliable transportation

    Must have a portable computer (iPad, lap top) for documentation purposes

    Valid documentation with ability to work in US
