  • Responsibilities

    AGM Management, LLC is a residential apartment property management company. Our team members strive to provide high-quality, safe, and well-run affordable housing for those in need. At this time, we are seeking a Recruiter to work at our Home Office located at 340 E. Big Beaver Rd., Troy, MI. The hours of the position are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with a 1-hour paid lunch. This position requires full-time, in-person attendance (remote work is not available at this time).

    Requirements/Preferences:

    • 2-4+ years of experience as a Corporate Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist, or HR Generalist
    • Expertise in Microsoft Office/Outlook
    • People person, extrovert, enjoys interviewing and getting to know a person
    • Detail-oriented, mission-driven, organized, yet flexible
    • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's or higher preferred
    • Excellent computer skills
    • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Willingness to work independently and as a team

    Job responsibilities include:

    • Interview and hire property managers, maintenance people and other positions relevant to property management
    • Approximately 5-10+ open positions at any time
    • Collaborate with team (execs and regional managers) to understand staffing demands
    • Source, assess, and interview candidates for approximately 5-10+ open positions in a growing, multi-state organization
    • Understand the technical and soft competencies required for successful performance in the affordable housing, multi-family industry
    • Update candidate information via Breezy HR (ATS) & keep each position's pipeline organized within each screening bucket
    • Administer in-house application & pre-screening skills test procedures
    • Extend conditional offers of employment, performance pre-employment background checks, & conduct reference check outreach calls
    • Assist with onboarding efforts for all new hires upon request
    • Fulfill all other assigned job duties as deemed necessary and appropriate by upper-level management
