AGS-Capital is a small venture fund seeking an Accounting / Assistant Controller to join our team. This individual will be responsible for assisting in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the fund. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to grow their career in the finance industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Bookkeeping, bank reconciliations
• Property tax payment, insurance coverage
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Conduct financial analysis to support investment decisions
• Payroll Audits
• Prepare investor reports and presentations
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Support the Controller in all accounting and finance-related tasks

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA qualification preferred - 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the investment industry
• Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
