Lead Line Cook Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Chef d' Cuisine to develop and execute menu items.
Ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes during service.
Manage inventory and order kitchen supplies as needed.
Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Implement and adhere to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in upscale Classic American Cuisine.
Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and culinary equipment.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Culinary degree or equivalent professional training is preferred.
Junior Sous Chef Responsibilities:
Assist the Chef d' Cuisine in all aspects of kitchen management.
Contribute to menu planning and development.
Supervise and direct kitchen staff in the absence of senior chefs.
Ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
Help manage kitchen operations, including inventory and ordering.
Uphold kitchen hygiene standards and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen.
Passion for fine dining and a desire to grow in a culinary career.
Strong foundational cooking skills and knowledge of culinary techniques.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
