What you'll Do
Build services and solutions that accelerate AI development
Apply your knowledge of AI agents, MCP servers, APIs, semantic retrieval, security standards, and new AI innovations to deliver outstanding outcomes
Use design thinking to improve developer effectiveness and efficiency
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to create innovative solutions
Build a developer community of AI and help Adobe developers to build AI apps.
Take the initiative to solve complex problems
Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement
What you need to succeed
** Technical Skills (Must Have)**
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
Proven industry experiences developing AI-driven solutions and agentic systems (evaluations, memory architectures, orchestration, etc.).
Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, along with familiarity with their surrounding tooling ecosystems.
Experience designing and integrating APIs (REST, GraphQL) and developing modern web applications.
** Technical Skills (Nice to Have)**
Familiarity with the LangChain / LangGraph ecosystem.
Understanding of semantic retrieval concepts and hands-on experience implementing semantic search or RAG style retrieval systems.
Working knowledge of widely used frameworks such as Spring Boot, React, or similar.
Experience with Kubernetes and modern deployment strategies.
Knowledge of major cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Strong understanding of software development practices (source control, CI/CD, containerization, automated testing, code reviews).
Proficiency with relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
** Technical Leadership**
Strong system design abilities with a clear understanding of architectural trade-offs.
Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end engineering solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding what makes a healthy developer community, including open development practices, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
Ability to work effectively with a geographically distributed team.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes on ambitious project timelines.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $139,000 -- $257,550 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $177,900 - $257,550
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
