We're also focused on innovating in the AI space to scale financing and provide our users with more options.
We're looking for an AI Engineer with 3-5+ years of experience to help us leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to accelerate our business. You will be instrumental in integrating with and fine-tuning AI models, optimizing performance for real-world applications, and designing solutions that integrate seamlessly with our data infrastructure. We aim to build innovative AI-driven agents to interact with potential and existing customers across lead generation, marketing, sales, and customer support.
Our AI tech stack includes tools like LangChain/LangGraph, Vector Databases for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and fine-tuning models on our data. Our broader tech stack features Python, Apache Spark (Databricks), and PostgreSQL (Aurora on AWS). We leverage AWS services, including CloudFront, ECS, Aurora, SQS, and Lambda. You'll need to think through complex challenges and how to leverage AI to deliver practical and effective business solutions.
We enable our teams to craft and release great code by providing plenty of deep-focus work time, minimizing meetings, focusing on value-add features, pushing frequent releases, and recharging with 3-day weekends.
Responsibilities
AI Model Augmentation and Fine-Tuning : Design approach to leverage and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for real-world applications.
LangChain/LangGraph Expertise: Leverage LangChain or LangGraph to build sophisticated LLM pipelines and agents for conversational AI, RAG solutions, and other AI-driven features.
Vector Database Implementation : Work with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus, or Weaviate) to optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems.
Integrate AI Solutions : Seamlessly integrate AI models into our data pipelines and business applications.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization : Optimize AI models and pipelines for performance and scalability in production environments.
AI Deployment and Maintenance : Deploy and monitor AI models in production, ensuring seamless operation and continual improvement.
Data Governance and Security : Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and implement robust data security measures for AI applications.
Documentation and Collaboration : Maintain detailed documentation of AI models, processes, and code.
Continual Learning and Innovation : Stay updated with the latest AI research and technologies. Identify opportunities for innovation and propose new AI-driven features or solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent real-world experience in AI Engineering or related fields.
3-5+ years of professional experience working specifically with AI/ML and modern AI tech stacks.
Proficiency in Python and experience with tools like LangChain , LangGraph , and Vector Databases.
Experience in fine-tuning and deploying machine learning models, especially LLMs.
Solid understanding of data pipelines (ELT) , data preparation, and working with both structured and unstructured data.
Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (Aurora, S3, Lambda).
Advanced communication skills, both verbal and written.
Detail-oriented with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment.
