    AI/ML Developer – San Antonio, TX

    EXPERIENCE:

    Design, develop, train, evaluate, and integrate AI/ML models and algorithms for Government systems in accordance with approved requirements and architectures. Support data preparation, model lifecycle management, and performance monitoring activities, ensuring traceability, reproducibility, and documentation of AI/ML artifacts. Implement AI/ML solutions in compliance with DoD cybersecurity, RMF, data protection, and responsible AI policies, and support accreditation and security assessment activities. Collaborate with Government and contractor personnel to support DevSecOps processes, testing and evaluation, system integration, documentation, and required deliverables.

    QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND REQUIREMENTS:

    Required Skills:

    • 3 years of demonstrated experience designing, developing, training, and evaluating machine learning models using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

    • 3 years of experience with programming languages commonly used in AI/ML development, such as Python, and supporting languages (e.g., SQL, Java, C++).

    • 3 years demonstrated experience of machine learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, model evaluation techniques, and feature engineering.

    • Demonstrated experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements.

    • 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.

    • 3 years of experience participating in software development programs or projects.

    • Demonstrated experience with relational databases, RESTful API development and communication, and system integrations.

    • 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.

    • Experience structuring data so it can be integrated into machine learning technologies or AI capabilities

    Required Interpersonal Skills:

    • Strong organizational and documentation skills.

    • Must be able to work under pressure and prioritize competing assignments with tight deadlines in environments with frequent interruptions.

    • Demonstrate a personal commitment and drive to meet or exceed objectives.

    • Be self-motivated, organized, and capable of proactively identifying, sourcing, and handling multiple initiatives at one given time to successful completion.

    • Be a team player and willing to work in a fast paced, fluid environment.

    Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience using Agile Test-Driven development.

    • Experience integrating into DoW/DoD DevSecOps environments.

    • 5 years of experience with CI/CD software development.

    • Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.

    • Experience with integrating data from unclassified to classified application deployments.

    EDUCATION AND SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

    • 7 years of experience in the functional area.

    • A Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.

    • Must be a US Citizen.

    • Must be eligible or have an active TS/SCI clearance.

    LOCATION AND SCHEDULE:

    Location – CONUS

    Schedule – Remote (Hybrid) No more than 50 miles from office.
