DEVOPS DEVELOPER (SECRET CLEARANCE) AINS has an immediate opening for a DEVOPS DEVELOPER (SECRET CLEARANCE) with Web Applications and DevOps experience. This DevOps development position provides expertise and leadership to our diversely skilled set of developers and application teams. In addition to participating in development activities a special focus will be advocating and standardizing the use of DevOps, CI/CD, and developer-focused security scanning software and tools. This is a hands-on developer and team facilitator role and will be instrumental in establishing Agency-wide best practices for software development as well. • Review and recommend software development DEVSECOPS, DevOps and APPOPStools and practices. Work with development teams using a variety of languages and tools to establish use of Azure DevOps features for code repositories (e.g., using Azure Git), archives, requirements, stories, development pipelines which span Azure and AWS hybrid cloud environments
• Establish security best practices by defining and implementing Agency -wide code scanning and security scanning tools for developer use. Secure the software component supply chain.
• Develop automated deployment and upgrade procedures/scripts (DevOps playbooks) using Azure DevOps, Ansible and/or Jenkins
• Asist in the design, development applications for a service-based, cloud-native, execution environments

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience with web application development using DevOps CI/CD tools
• Experience supporting and deploying web applications using a variety of languages such as .Net, Java, C#, or PHP
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Microsoft Team Foundation Services or Azure VSTS
• Familiarity with using application security or code quality tools as a part of development cycles (e,g., SonarQube, VeraCode, AppScan, or Fortify)
• Familiar with web app deployment, administration on Windows and/or Linux app servers (e.g. IIS, Tomcat)
• Basic knowledge of virtualized servers and services in private cloud environments
• Experience in cloud-based application development and deployments in Azure or AWS
• Experience with Ansible, Git, Jenkins, Chef, puppet, Docker containerized deployment
• MS Azure or AWS PaaS development tools

CLEARANCE: ● US citizenship and active or interim Secret Clearance EDUCATION: ● B. S. in Computer Science or related degree preferred
