Job Summary

We are GROWING and actively seeking Weatherization Technicians (Insulation Installer) to join our team. In this role, you will be a member of a high performing crew to complete weatherization work. We do more than insulation, we pride ourselves in understanding building science and finding the best solutions for our customers.

Responsibilities

Supporting the Crew - keep product and tools ready for installers

Detecting Energy Leakage - help identify inefficiencies in the building envelop

Performing Weatherization Services - increase energy efficiency of the building through:

Attic - removing insulation, sealing gaps, and installing baffles, vents and insulation

Sidewall - prepping the worksite, creating access, and assisting in installing insulation

Floor - prepping the worksite, creating access and assisting in installing insulation

Installing weather striping, door seals, snow jammers, and other energy saving measures

Completing work orders and driving customer satisfaction

Repair and patching drywall and plaster

Siding removal and installation

Installing roof vents

Health and Safety - maintain a safe work environment, seal ductwork, install smoke and CO detectors

Always adhere to policies and standards for a safe and productive environment

Qualifications

Able to work in a variety of work environments:

Tight confined places (attics, basements, and crawl spaces)

Indoors and Outdoors

Cold weather and extreme heat

Comfortable and safe on ladders and roofs

Can use a variety of tools:

Hand tools (Screw driver, hammer, prybar…)

Power tools (circular saw, drills, sawsall…)

Industrial tools (insulation equipment...)

Pays attention to the details:

Keeps customer’s home and property tidy and clean

Consistently organizes truck, shop, equipment and tools (5S)

Provides customer service

Is approachable and personable with customers and answers basic questions with confidence

Escalates as needed to the lead

Provides immediate and regular feedback to fellow team members and leadership

Understands the value of consistency through policies, standards and processes

Follows company policies

Adheres to company and industry standards

Learns the proper handling of tooling and supplies

LEAD Position requires:

Experience with Cellulose Insulation Installation

A clean driving record and ability to carefully navigate our 24' box trucks

Ability to motivate the team with a lead by example approach
