    AIS Buffalo is a Buffalo-based company with a 36 year history of delivering business communications solutions to WNY businesses. We offer a portfolio of products that range from hardware and software such as servers, switches, PCs, and Microsoft 365, to managed IT services with continuous network monitoring, and tools for managing cyber threats, and cloud storage. We also provide comprehensive voice solutions with our CX Connect system, a pure VoIP offering that operates from multiple geo-diverse datacenters and has active/active redundancy with auto-failover.

    AIS has solid manufacturer/provider relationships with organizations such as HP, Dell, Fortinet, Aruba, Ubiquiti, Poly, Yealink, Spectrum, and Verizon. The AIS customer base is extensive and diverse, with significant clients in government, schools, not for profit, professional services, and commercial accounts. We are seeking professional account executives to join our sales team. The position would be cultivating new business relationships, as well as working with select base accounts.

    Below are some responsibilities that account executives are expected to assume:

    • Plan, execute, and manage client accounts and projects
    • Collaborate with clients to determine product or service requirements
    • Develop project plans to meet client goals and objectives
    • Build relationships with clients to ensure brand and project success
    • Development of new client relationships
    • Ensure client satisfaction and retention
    • Provide product presentations, and proposals consistent with client requirements
    • Utilize internal and partner resources toward meeting project objectives
    • Maintain selling activity levels for prospecting, and necessary follow up events

    Some of the qualifications expected of an account executive:

    • Minimum of 2 years experience in sales, preferably B2B
    • Excellent analytical and conceptual-thinking skills
    • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) software
    • Experience creating detailed proposals/presentations
    • Competency using Microsoft Office Suite
    • A track record of following through on commitments
    • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
