JOB TITLE:  INVENTORY SPECIALIST

BUSINESS PROFILE

Alamo Transformer Supply Company (ATSCO) is a Texas owned and operated company started in 1963. ATSCO is strategically positioned with two locations, San Antonio and Houston. The San Antonio facility focuses on the Distribution Transformer repair, rewinding and material recycling. The Houston facility focuses on large power system repairs. The two locations allow ATSCO to service both utility/Co-Ops and the Industrial/petrochemical customer's needs. This position is located in San Antonio, Texas.

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

This position is responsible maintaining inventory, loading and offloading trucks, yard maintenance and testing of electrical equipment. This position requires the employee to work outside in a non-climate controlled environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Responsible for maintaining Factory Hill yard
• Ensuring timbers/boards/pallets are under all equipment
• Identifying leaking equipment
• Organizing and ensuring all equipment is in order
• Offload and unload of incoming/outgoing electrical equipment
• Testing of electrical equipment
• Updating inventory cards/yard map
• Picking out equipment for potential sales
• This position will report to Factory Hill lead

EDUCATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• High school or GED preferred
• Forklift preferred
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Able to lift 50+ lbs
• Able to pass a background check
• Able to pass drug screen

JOB TYPE & PAY

• Full-time position
• $14-$15/ hour
• Non-exempt
